All change!
Firstly, Happy New Year! I have been a bit quiet with sharing news since the Woking
Christmas lights switch on.
This is for no other reason that things have been absolutely manic! December saw me leave Eagle Radio, after 10 amazing years of memories with a fantastic local radio station. The amount of messages of support I received from listeners and colleagues was truly humbling and I will miss them all very much because I had such a fantastic time and experienced incredible things with them.
My time on Drive Time finished with a week of Outside Broadcasts, taking the show into five listener homes, with Lewis’ Lights. It was one of the projects that I was most proud of during my time with Eagle, so was a fitting way for me to finish my time in Surrey & Hampshire.
So, why have I left? For as long as I have known, my dream has been to work within sports media, and when I was offered the opportunity to work for Leicester City FC as a presenter with their in house channels, LCFC TV and LCFC Radio, I couldn’t turn down the chance to get stuck in.
The first couple of weeks have been fantastic, as I have jumped straight into presenting programmes for the club’s output, with both the Thursday Night Live talk show and Matchday Live, the flagship coverage of all of LCFC’s games. I have enjoyed trips to Anfield, Vicarage Road and three home games at King Power Stadium. Working with a fantastic team, I have been able to get to know the style of programming and produce some content which I’ve really enjoyed delivering.
The below is an example of the Thursday Night Live programme, with former Leicester City players Matt Elliott and Gerry Taggart…

It’s an exciting new phase of my career, and I look forward to sharing more content very soon!
