Leicester City U23’s fell at the semi-final stage as they were beaten by Aston Villa on a rainy night at King Power Stadium. A place in the final of the Premier League Cup was up for grabs, but despite two great goals (see below), it was the Villains who progressed, winning 3-2. I was on commentary duties alongside former Leicester City manager Micky Adams.
