Race for Life
It’s been an absolute pleasure to be working with Cancer Research UK again this year, hosting their famous Race for Life events. This year, CRUK are celebrating 25 years of Race for Life and it was an honour to host theBattersea Park event, where the first ever Race for Life took place. With Battersea Power Station providing the backdrop, a sea of pink flooded through the park to take on the challenge on a balmy Wednesday evening. My next stop was Trent Park, Enfield where over a thousand racers arrived to take on either the 5km or 10km course. Both events were enjoyed with the great fun and love that have come to be expected from any Race for Life, but also with the poignancy that every person is participating for their own individual reason that is so important to them. Luckily for me, I get to be involved with two more events this year, at Blackheath (1st July) and Hyde Park (29th July). See you there!
