Ahead of Surrey Day 2022, BBC Surrey got in touch with me to say, “will you walk the North Downs Way for us?”.

It sounded like fun and so it proved to be, with a fantastic documentary produced by Simon Furber the end result following 50 miles of walking from Farnham to the Kent border. Accompanied by Chris and Ken from the Surrey Hills Society, we met people en route, learnt fascinating history lessons about areas we passed and sampled a fair amount of nice local food and drink as well!

As well as it being an incredibly fun project, we became a really tight team during this project and will go down as one of my favourites to have worked on.
