Teaching is something I’ve long been interested in but it’s never been the right moment to explore it further. However, now I’ve been given a fantastic opportunity to do just that.

I have just started working for Brooklands College in Weybridge as a Sessional Media Lecturer. For two days a week, I’ll be helping to guide students towards achieving their Level 2 and Level 3 diplomas in Creative Media.

As well as teaching some of the theory behind creating media products, I’ll also be helping the students to produce content including podcasts, films and posters.

The students are full of creativity and ideas, with a real passion to learn how to make different types of media come to life, so I can’t wait to continue learning myself, as well as helping them meet their targets.
