After a summer of glorious sunshine, and an everlasting heatwave, how cruel it would be that the one break in the weather would come when thousands of women are setting themselves to take on a physical challenge across an iconic London park. That’s exactly what happened during Race for Life 2018, as the heavens opened and Hyde Park was deluged for one day only!

Having tentatively come out from under the trees to join in the warm up, the participants soon found the spring in their step to enjoy what was another fantastic event. That marks the last Race for Life for me of this year – and I’ve absolutely loved working for Cancer Research UK on such special occasions.
