Hello! I’m already two shows in to my stint on Live and Local on BBC Surrey and BBC Sussex and have really enjoyed seeing how the show has developed already and allowing it to take it’s own course.

Show 2 was all about young people and the pressures faced in 2019. Whether it be during school, university or socially. I was joined in the studio by student Eshan Puri who spoke candidly about his experiences while at university. We also heard from Tom Madders from the charity, Young Minds.

Chichester High School shared the amazing work they’re doing to train students to be mental health ambassadors at the school, and Danny Jones from McFly told us about his experiences of mentoring on The Voice Kids and was very honest about his own mental health battles and how he uses his music to address them.
